This Privacy Policy explains how ATL Black Business Board ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, protects, and handles your information when you visit or interact with our platform.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information necessary to operate our public advertising index, process rank bids, and disburse bi-weekly revenue share payments:
Public Business & Organization Data: Business/brand name, website or social URL, category, and optional business description. This information is displayed publicly on The Index and Full Directory.
Private Contact Information: Owner/representative contact email address. This is used solely for transaction receipts, payout notifications, and platform support. Contact emails are strictly private and never displayed publicly.
Payout Handles: Cash App ($Cashtag) or Zelle target (phone/email) provided by business owners to receive bi-weekly revenue share distributions.
Transaction & Billing Data: Payment details are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers or sensitive financial billing credentials on our servers.
Usage & Analytics Data: Privacy-focused web analytics powered by DataFast to monitor page performance, visitor traffic, and referral sources without tracking personal browsing history across external websites.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used strictly for legitimate operational purposes:
To render your brand ranking placement on the public index and directory.
To calculate and disburse bi-weekly quadratic revenue share payouts on the 7th and 21st of each month.
To send email receipts, payment confirmations, and critical operational updates.
To detect, prevent, and respond to fraudulent, malicious, or unauthorized listing activity.
Privacy Guarantee: We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal contact information or email addresses to third-party advertisers or data brokers.
3. Public vs. Private Information
When you list a business, organization, or brand on The Index:
We use essential cookies and session IDs to preserve navigation state and track revenue attribution via DataFast. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though certain interactive features (like payment attribution) may be limited.
6. Data Retention & Security
We maintain appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. All database connections use SSL encryption.
7. Policy Updates & Contact Us
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect platform enhancements or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
